It takes every proven feature of the Gen 3-M and rebuilds it in a lighter, stronger, smaller, and more corrosion-resistant stainless-steel design. If you want to turn any AR-pattern rifle into a compact "truck gun" for transport and storage in non-permissive environments, this is Law Tactical's most refined adapter yet.
Operation stays true to what made the platform famous: a simple one-button release folds the stock, and to engage you just unfold and fire — it automatically locks into place, requiring no fine motor skills. The adapter does not affect firearm function when unfolded in the standard fire position, and the rear housing is built to standard-receiver specifications for maximum compatibility.
The Gen-S is engineered around three upgrades over the Gen 3-M. Lighter: a 12.5% lighter housing sheds 1.10 oz. Stronger: a reinforced locking lug, locking latch, and threaded flange. Smaller: a reduced-profile housing with a lowered hinge position for even cleaner weapon manipulation. High-strength stainless steel — housing, bolt carrier extension, hinge bolt, hardware, and springs — is paired with a DLC coating for outstanding corrosion and wear resistance.
Compatibility remains broad: it works with both direct-impingement and gas-piston systems, fits A2, carbine, mil-spec, and commercial buffer tubes and stocks, and accepts standard bolt carrier groups from 5.56 to .308. An integrated QD sling attachment point and an adjustable-tension hinge round out the package. Designed, built, and assembled in the USA.
