The Springfield Echelon is already a serious pistol. The Tyrant CNC I.T.T.S. — Improved Tyrant Trigger System — is the upgrade that takes its single weakest fingerprint, the OEM trigger, and tightens it into something that actually matches the rest of the gun.

What Changes When You Pull It

• ~20% less pre-travel. The wall arrives where your trigger finger expects it. First-shot break and follow-up shots both come faster, with less wasted motion.
• Firmer-than-OEM reset. Crisp, audible, tactile. You feel the click, you press again — no guessing, no overrun.
• Consistent ~4 lb pull. Light enough to run fast, heavy enough to carry. The middle ground done right.
• Hybrid trigger face. Flat profile with a subtle curved lip at the base — straight-shoe leverage, curved-shoe comfort.

Built to Last, Not Just to Look Good

CNC-machined from 6000-series aluminum and paired with a stainless steel safety blade — and that material pairing isn't aesthetic. The Echelon trigger mates with the Central Operating Group (COG), which is steel; running a steel safety blade against steel prevents the chipping and accelerated wear you'd see from a softer combination over thousands of rounds.

Inside, a custom heat-treated stainless steel spring delivers the consistency that makes the I.T.T.S. feel the same on round 50 as it does on round 5,000.

Engineered for Real-World Maintenance

Tyrant ditched the traditional roll pin in favor of a custom screw mechanism. Translation: cleaner installs, easier teardowns, no buggered pin channels three years from now. The enclosed safety blade is shaped to prevent finger pinch — a small detail, but one you'll appreciate the first time you dry-fire wearing gloves.

Drop-In Ready for the Echelon Platform

Designed specifically for the Springfield Armory Echelon's COG architecture. Disassembly is straightforward thanks to the Echelon's modular design, and the I.T.T.S. drops onto the trigger bar, locks down with the included screw, and goes back into the grip module. Tyrant strongly recommends installation by a qualified gunsmith, followed by a full safety and function check before live fire.

Range Notes

This is an aggressive trigger. The first time you take it to the range, expect to be slightly ahead of the shot — pre-travel you used to lean into is gone. Run a couple of magazines slow, let the new wall and reset register, and then open up the speed. You'll feel the difference grow with every drill.
